Katinka is a counsel in our banking & financing department and joined Stek in 2018. She advises both lenders and borrowers in national as well as cross-border finance transactions in general. She specialises in project finance, with an emphasis on financings within the energy transition. She acts as counsel to lenders and projects with the financing of, for instance, solar- and windfarms, geothermal energy and biomass projects, networks and charging poles. She also advises with real estate- and leisure finance transactions. Katinka is part of Stek’s Energy team and started her career at Houthoff.
Katinka regularly writes blogs on energy and project finance related topics, including on The Equator Principles, Direct Agreements and security over VAT receivables (all in the Dutch language).
